Saw a couple of windmills today, the smaller one I was able to go inside of. It is a working windmill and it is used to grind wheat into flour, or to grind other grains. The smaller one is also a built in a way that the entire windmill, not just the propelers rotate with the wind.

The smaller windmill is located in a place called Bourtange. It is about 1 kilometer away from the Germany border. Since we were so close, I told David he needed to drive me into Germany so we drove along a street that literally followed the Germany and Netherlands border. We found a town that had an interesting church so I took a picture of it.

This is not the greatest picture, but it is inside one of the churches that I sent a picture of last trip. It's the one with yellow stripes on the clock tower.

A "sea" of bicycles outside of the central train station. It is on multiple levels, there are just as many underneath the view you see here.
